Sunday School

Our three-year-olds through eighth graders study God’s chosen people (Old Testament) in the fall and events in the life of Christ (New Testament) for the balance of the year. We try to make the Bible come alive for kids, focusing on Bible heroes with films, plays and dramatizations.

Each year we participate in a mission project to help those in need. We tell the wonderful story of Christ’s birth at our Children’s Christmas Program in which each of us has an individual speaking part. The script is written especially for our Sunday School; there is great anticipation of the theme, especially by the eighth graders, who are the stars! We look forward to the program (on the Sunday before Christmas) to the lunch after, hosted by the LWML, and to taking home our bags of peanuts, candy and fruit.

Our Sunday School staff, which all undergo annual background checks; includes moms, dads, high school students, grandpas, and grandmas. All have a passion for Sunday School, St. Paul’s kids and a love for their Savior.
